Khaleda to attend political event after 7 years

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to attend a political event after seven years.

She is likely to attend the National Revolution and Solidarity Day programme on December 21 as the chief guest at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, sources at the BNP said.

Aside from Khaleda Zia,  BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will also attend the event virtually.

Khaleda Zia last attended a political event in February of 2018.

Considering her health, the event on December 21 will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in the capital from 3pm to 5pm.
